Kazoo band

Maggie S. led several volunteers in a kazoo band (with percussion)
in the performance of several songs.

We sang Memory Quilt (tune: "America"), Ode to my Janome (tune: "My Country 'Tis of Thee), Quilting Shop (tune: "Dixie"), Yankee Quilter (tune: "Yankee Doodle"), Sew Sassy Ville (tune: "Margaritaville"), Hello Moda! (tune: "Camp Grenada"), and Shop Hop (tune: "Under the Boardwalk").

More members of the kazoo band.

Past and Present Officers

The present and soon to be officers were asked to provide 5 or 6 little-known facts about themselves. The rest of those attending attempted to guess which lady was related to which question leading to those facts.

Some of the interesting questions about them were:
who had a boyfriend discourage her from joining the Navy?
who won a Betty Crocker competition?
who measures 3 or 4 times before cutting?
who's maiden name was Dillon?
who knows how to use a six shooter?
who was married 2 times in 6 months?

The questions were fun and the results were entertaining. Thanks to the ladies for letting us know some more unusual things about them.
