Past and Present Officers

The present and soon to be officers were asked to provide 5 or 6 little-known facts about themselves. The rest of those attending attempted to guess which lady was related to which question leading to those facts.

Some of the interesting questions about them were:
who had a boyfriend discourage her from joining the Navy?
who won a Betty Crocker competition?
who measures 3 or 4 times before cutting?
who's maiden name was Dillon?
who knows how to use a six shooter?
who was married 2 times in 6 months?

The questions were fun and the results were entertaining. Thanks to the ladies for letting us know some more unusual things about them.

Officers for 2007-2008

Welcome!
Continuing officers:
Treasurer, Elaine G.; Vice President, Mary C.
New officers:
President, Dorothy B.; Secretary, Kathie V.

Past President Melissa R. (not pictured here) presented Elaine and Mary with fabric from unfinished projects to indicate that their service to the guild continues.

She presented Dorothy and Kathie with fabric from projects not yet started as their service to the guild is about to start. She also gave Dorothy a gavel to symbolize her authority and a spoon that was left at some potluck sometime to symbolize that things might not always be resolved. We hope that these officers enjoy their service to the guild and we thank them in advance!
