Shirley O'R. (Quilter of the Month)

Shirley O'R. was our Quilter of the Month.
She showed some of her wonderful quilts and her pictures of some of the quilts she has given away.

Pat H. (black and white and green)

Pat H. used the 5" squares from the black and white swap (currently in progress) and made this quilt as a gift for her granddaughter.

The famous granddaughter who is in the newspaper.

Carol W. (3 quilts, new member)

Carol W. (new member tonight, Welcome!)
Moving from New York, she had some quilts to show tonight.
This quilt features elephant fabric and she started it in a workshop with Mary Kay Ryan (of Vermont Quilt Show fame).

She found these pieces in an old trunk
from her husband's grandparent's generation.

In 1999 she visited Australia and bought aboriginal-designed fabric.
She designed this quilt and quilted it using metalic thread and beading.

The back of this quilt has pictures from her trip.
